Designed to Inspire The World
A CYCLING PROGRAM DESIGNED TO MAKE A PROFOUND IMPACT IN ISRAELI SOCIETY AND INSPIRE THE WORLD
"Good is something you do. Not something you talk about."
— Gino Bartali
Gino Bartali Youth Leadership School is a world-class international cycling program, bringing together youth from diverse backgrounds and developing the leaders of the future.
Using cycling to bridge cultural divides by bringing diverse ethnic groups, socioeconomic backgrounds and religions all togther under the same roof. Training, racing and living together at a leadership-focused boarding-school.
The Ben Shemen Youth Village is located in the center of Israel, midway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and in close proximity to Ben Gurion Airport. The Youth Village is adjacent to Ben Shemen Forest, Israel's cycling “Mecca”.
An Italian cycling legend, Gino Bartali was the only athlete who ever won the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France, before and after WWII. Bartali became a national hero thanks to his achievements on the bike, however his true heroism was far greater than his sporting victories.
