Bartali 180 Ride - The Route
The Bartali 180 Ride features a beautiful rolling road out of Florence, where you can catch a peak of the Apennine Mountain Range in the distance.
The route continues on Via Sette Ponte, a particularly beautiful road that is used by many riders as a part of their daily riding. Along the route, the participants stop in “Rada in Chianti” for light lunch, before heading to Terontola – where Bartali’s monument is placed.
The last part of the ride, before reaching Assisi includes a few good climbs, sometimes windy and challenging, making the post ride massage extremely welcomed! For those who would like to have a shorter day, the option of jumping on the event bus would be available at this spot. The ride finishes with a short scenic ascent up into Assisi, before the final finishers ceremony at Piazza Santa Maria Degli Angeli in Assisi.
